As a young man, I left a form of dogmatic and oppressive “Christianity” behind for a secular life that was focused on raising a family and also participating in the struggles for justice and peace for all people. But after some years, I crashed. In crisis, I discovered others who had come to a different understanding of Jesus, such as those who practiced and taught the actual practice of Love in the world, personal and social. This saved my life, and I joined others in this different way of understanding faith.

I invite others to join me in a journey of love and faith. I’m a widow, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, friend who wants to share with others the joy and peace that comes through the forgiving and loving grace I’ve found in our Creator God, with Jesus Christ and the continuing presence of the Holy Spirit. I learned long ago that faith is experienced in community when we “ Do justice, love kindness and walk humbly with God.”
